A fabulous morning: meeting an incredibly wonderful family and getting to see the cutest little one-year-old, Eliana, smash the bejesus out of her cake! After a couple of hours cooped up on a car ride, Eliana is happy just to hang out with her mommy and daddy in the not so melt-your-face-off heat we’re having lately. I love how she snuggles right in with her daddy–yeah, this little girl is going to rule his world … that is, if she doesn’t already
We capture the happy spontaneity with a couple of family shots and attempt to get the birthday girl on her own, but she has different plans–plans to be close (very close) to her mommy. Oh, these are my favorite sequences of the session! Daddy is making Ellie giggle and she is just loving on her mommy. So precious! Right before we’ve exhausted all the giggles, we plop her down right in front of her very own cake. Bam! Eliana wasted no time in smashing this thing; she put on her game face and the smashing commenced. Cake and icing everywhere–perfect! What a great ending to a fun shoot!
